These sculptures are made from a combination of crushed alabaster stone, porcelain powders, and resin. Only the purest processes are used by Mill Creek Studios to reproduce the original impressions of the artist.

About the Artist: For myself, creating art is a solitary thing. At its best, it is a time for me to step out of the world and its demands, and out of “the self” with all of its preoccupations. To be wholly absorbed in my subject, whether “flesh” or “furred” enables me to imagine their “story”. My mind creates imagined environments and situations where
that animal, or that person, is interacting. I’ve always felt that capturing a mood or emotion, by look or gesture is so important and this “imagining” I do brings my subjects to life for me. Hopefully, I am able to convey some of this in my work
 I believe I speak for all the artists here at Mill Creek Studios that it is our hope that everything we do here enlarges the imagination. As the apostle Paul said, "... whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things."
